Czech-Slovak Business Forum 2026

National project 2 - Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bratislava, would like to invite you to the Czech - Slovak business forum 2026, which will be held on September 23, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Hotel (Millennium I Conference Hall), Športová 2, Žilina.

The main objective of the Czech – Slovak business forum is to held the bilateral negotiations of individual companies, which will provide the opportunity for Slovak and foreign entrepreneurs to establish personal contact and develop mutual business relations.

The mail focus of the event is on the following sectors:

• Engineering
• Defence industry
• Electrical engineering
• Energy( incl. Renewable Energy Sources)
• Water management
• Ecology, green technologies
• Wood processing industry, furniture
• Technologies for healthcare
• Food industry
• Information and Communications Technology, digitization, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security

The participation of Slovak SMEs is financed within the framework of the National Project Support for the Internationalization of SMEs 2 is implemented within the framework of the Slovakia program, specific objective RSO1.3 Strengthening the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and the creation of jobs in SMEs, including through productive investments, measure 1.3.2 Internationalization small and medium-sized business.

*Information for Slovak SMEs:

Only small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Slovakia that meet the following criteria may participate in the event for free:

1. Entities meeting the definition of SMEs defined in Annex no. I Commission Regulation (EU) 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market.
2. Entities meeting the criteria set out in the de minimis scheme (companies that employ less than 250 people and whose annual turnover does not exceed EUR 50 million and/or the total annual balance sheet does not exceed EUR 43 million. The criteria for the number of employees must be met and at least one from the listed financial criteria)

Due to limited capacities, SARIO reserves the right to select forum participants, taking into account the sectoral focus and profile of the participants, their previous activities and potential in the territories concerned.

SARIO reserves the right to change the program during the preparation of the event.
